House of Commons with IOSH

I was very excited to be photographing in the House of Commons again so soon after being there just over a month ago with Young Women’s Trust (YWT).

This time, I was photographing a workshop for The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). They had key guest speakers such as the Rt Hon Dame Diana Johnson DBE, who is Minister of State at the Department for Work and Pensions; Sir Charlie Mayfield, who is the former chair of John Lewis and is leading the “Keep Britain Working” review; and MP Lee Barron, who is also a trade unionist.

The workshop was so interesting and insightful, and I felt proud to be in a room of such important discussions, where it feels like real progress will be made. The Employment Rights Act was also discussed, which was exciting, due to my being a campaigner for YWT and us celebrating the bill being passed into law, at the HOC event the month before.

It’s an honour that I can use my camera to step into important places like this, helping to document, educate, and strengthen the impact of these discussions. Work like this gives my photography an even greater sense of purpose.

No. 10 Downing Street with Young Women's Trust

I was proud to bring my camera to No. 10 Downing Street to photograph these young women on an important mission to hand in YWT’s open letter to Chancellor Rachel Reeves. I loved being able to capture some beautiful portraits and headshots of them as well, bringing out their best side and boosting their confidence! I always feel inspired and empowered whenever I work with this charity.

Ministry of Sound — The Second Time Around feat. Ramzier

I got to photograph at Ministry of Sound… again! This time, I was shooting Ramzier in the Baby Box room, and the vibe was absolutely electric.

Ramzier played some heavy DnB —my top choice — and it was easily one of my favourite nights I’ve photographed so far!

The crowd was buzzing, everyone was loving it, dancing, and totally in the moment… and me? I was there with gunfingers at the ready, snapping away and loving every second 😉. The room was alive, and I was so happy to be right in the middle of the action.

Ministry of Sound feat. Lauren Mia

I’ve photographed my fair share of bars and nightclubs over the years, but nothing quite compares to photographing at Ministry of Sound. Through working with the incredible Reyus, I got to shoot Lauren Mia — a DJ from LA — and honestly, it was everything I dreamt about as a music photographer.

My goal with every shoot is to create photos that tickle the same spot in your brain that music does — the way the bass hits, the lights flash, and everything just clicks. Ministry of Sound was that and so much more. The energy was insane, the crowd was buzzing, and Lauren Mia was pure fire behind the decks.

Here are some of my favourite shots from that unforgettable night.

Jonny and Hannah Engagement Photoshoot 2023

I had the pleasure of taking some portraits of this lovely couple to celebrate their engagement in 2023! They had initially booked me to shoot their wedding, but having an engagement shoot is also a great way to get to know each other, and feel more comfortable getting your photos taken before the big day! Here are some of my favourite images from the shoot.
